This image was captured on one of most my anticipated trips. Upon arriving to this location I could not see a thing, the lake was so very foggy and we left an hour later than was scheduled. I could barely see my hand in front of my face. The lake is filled with dead cypress tree stumps. The Captain who I hired for the day had to not only be knowledgeable about the lake but extremely careful not to hit any tree stumps and risk ripping up his boat. This lake is filled with alligators. He carefully navigated the boat down the lake and on occasion I could see a few reflections and tried to capture them. I captured this shot after the fog had burned off revealing the magic of what felt like heaven to me, I am looking forward to returning again and again.
