A wide view of Dead Lakes in Wewahitchka FL creates a beautiful magnificent scene of a place so full of life you wonder how it was named Dead Lakes. The energy whirling around the lake makes one feel they are a part of a greater scene than the one they are beholding. The Dead Lakes are a beautiful metropolis, a place where natures magic brings water to your eyes, wild and yet so peacefully tamed. Photographing the lake and the cypress trees let me bask in heavens foggy morning until the sun burned off one beauty and filled my viewfinder with another one. I left with a full understanding of the meaning of Wewahitchka for it brought water to my eyes as scene after beautiful scene passed by.
